Bluebloop co-founders Perin Tan, 25, and Liu Yu Tong, 28, deliver crabs to around 20 locations each day, seven days a week. The two University of London graduates left their corporate jobs to start the crab wholesale company six months ago.
“We have no off days — so if we finish our deliveries early, that’s our lull time,” says Ms Liu. She quit as an insurance agent while Ms Tan left her business development job to run Bluebloop full time. The duo now supply more than 150 kilogrammes of crab to over 40 establishments each day.
